Why this exists
A simpler alternative to heavy design tools
Most local businesses do not need a full design suite when they are trying to tape one clear notice to a door, announce a sale, hire help, explain a broken machine, or print a one-night menu. DoorSignKit keeps the job narrow: choose the template, edit the words, print it, and move on with the day.
Each template is sized for ordinary office printers and designed with high contrast, large type, and generous spacing. That matters for windows, counters, and dining tables because customers often scan printed pages quickly during busy service moments.
Print tips
Make printed pages easy to read at a glance
Use one main message
Keep the biggest line short: "Closed Today," "Now Hiring," "25% Off," or "Pickup Here." Add details below it.
Choose strong contrast
Dark text on a light page works for most glass doors and counters. Bold accent colors work well for urgent notices.
Protect signs outdoors
For exterior doors, laminate the page or place it inside a simple sign sleeve so rain and sun do not ruin it.
Refresh dated pages
Replace holiday signs, sale signs, hiring notices, and pop-up menus as soon as the date or offer passes.
Privacy
QR codes are generated locally
Review and Wi-Fi QR signs are created in the browser using the bundled QR generator. The tool does not need an external QR API, so pasted review links and Wi-Fi details are not sent to a third-party QR service.
